Mary Da Rosa

I work with people who come to therapy because they feel something in their lives has become too difficult to cope with, or with individuals who want to develop a deeper understanding of themselves.

Therapy is an opportunity for healing as well as personal growth.

I am intuitive and compassionate; this enables me to form a deep and meaningful relationship with my clients. I provide a safe space without judgement where you can talk and find meaning in what you bring to your sessions.

I encourage you to go at your own pace and explore only what is comfortable.

My clinical training is Psychodynamic, meaning we work together to understand how the past influences your relationships today. However, this does not mean we need focus on the past, my approach is guided by who you are as an individual.

It takes courage to come to therapy and working with clients is a privilege. I hope this step towards therapy will be as transformational in your life as it has been in mine.

We will have an initial consultation to assess the suitability of my services. This session will involve a brief review of historical facts and will provide us with an opportunity to agree a way forward.

If we both agree to work together, I will issue a contract which outlines the terms and ethical codes that I adhere with the BACP Guidelines.

I offer in person and online sessions which take place weekly and last 50 minutes.
